Launch of Christmas Stock 26/27 October 2012

It is time for our annual Christmas Fair, to be held at Latte & Lace this weekend.
We will start the festivities with a cheese and wine on Friday 26 th at 17h00.  entrance fee is R30 with the first glass of wine, FREE.  There will be yummy snacks to nibble on while you shop and socialize with your friends.
Saturday is the flea market with loads of exciting stalls from local and afar.  We have done our best to ensure the standards of the stalls are high and only good quality goods are on display.
We look forward to seeing you at our annual event.

Liz Laight Zizi Clothing Collection

Latte & Lace is proud to host the Liz Laight Zizi Clothing collection on friday, 1 June 2012 from 9h00 until 17h30.  Come and enjoy a cuppa whilst browsing through the clothing , and placing your orders.  Prices range from R180 to R350.  Delivery on order 3-4 weeks.  See you there.

Frozen meals

A message we received from a satisfied customer who has bought our frozen meals.  "Your frozen dinners are just superb and will place an order with you when next I come through.  That lasagne chicken and spinach was just amazing, thankyou".

Bar one cheese cake

I made this Bar one cheese cake and it was so popular and delicious that it did not even have time to set properly and it was sold out.  Very delicious.  

Tea Party

We hosted a tea party for the ladies at Leisure Gardens.  They all had great fun and said that they would be back.

Open on public holidays

We are open on public holidays until 1 pm.  We have baked yummy cakes in anticipation of all our loyal customers visiting us today.

We hosted a baby shower for Boni on Saturday and it was a huge success.  Everything was in pink.  Tiered frosted pink cakes with lace and ribbons.  The guests said that the cakes and snacks were absolutely Delicious.  It was a very formal event with back ground music adding to the festivities.

Our frozen meals section of our coffee shoppe is now up and running and it is so exciting to be told two days and 75 frozen meals later that I had better make some more as they are all now sold out.  How about that.  We actually ran out of freezer space and had to buy another fridge.  If you have not yet tried any of the meals, please come in and see what we have in stock that makes your mouth water.

Garden water jugs just arrived

We  have a large variety of water jugs and plant pots in stock for the keen gardener.

New stock has arrived

New stock by Antjies has arrived.  There are fizzy balls for the bath as well as heart shaped "tea bags" to dip in the bath.  Bed slippers in time for winter and other divine smellies.  Also lovely crocheted hand towels and face cloths in time for mothers day.

The children had the most amazing fun being creative.  So much so that we had to re sand and paint one of the tables that we used for the paper mache.  Great messy, sticky fun.

We are open as usual on Saturday morning, 7th April, from 8-00 am until 1-00pm.  Serving the most amazing yummy cakes and meals.  Bring your friends and relations that are holidaying with you for the weekend to the only safe and secure coffee shop in Empangeni.

Grand opening of Latte & Lace

We had a fantastic turn out for our grand opening this weekend.  The Friday dinner was a huge success.  The Saturday turn out was marvelous and the flea market was well supported.  Sharon and I would like to thank everyone who visited us.  We loved serving you.

Grand opening

We are planning our official opening of Sharon's and my new venture together.  We are planning a weekend of fun, flea markets the whole weekend, new plants in the nursery, and a dinner for the Friday evening.  Light back ground music from local musicians.  The date is  16 & 17th March 2012.  Watch this space.

We hosted our first Valentines Evening with a 3 course Dinner, It was a great success and everyone was asking when we will do the next dinner evening.  We, the Latte & Lace team worked very hard behind the scenes to make it the success it was.  We all participated in cooking different aspects of the meal, a real joint effort.  Well done to the team.

Sharon and I are hosting our first Valentines Dinner and we are sold out!  We are so excited.  I am making flambe`ed chicken and am too afraid to light it, with the brandy on it.  I will take it and ask the chef at Amble Inn to help me.
